Sandor Bali

– MSc. Architect and Engineer, 2009 (HU); BSc. Constructing Architect, 2011 (DK)
– BIM Implementation Architect and GRAPHISOFT Registered Consultant

Sandor is a GRAPHISOFT Registered Consultant working with ARCHICAD since 2003. As an architect and BIM modeler he was involved in refurbishment projects in Zanzibar and Denmark. He worked at GRAPHISOFT Headquarters as a Business Development Manager/BIM Implementation Architect for 2 years being responsible for ARCHICAD feature demos, trainings and implementation before moving to Singapore.

Sandor conducts regular ARCHICAD trainings at basic and advanced levels, including modeling, documentation, model auditing and MEP Modeler. He has trained 200+ architects since 2015 of architectural practices and contractors, including large accounts such as P&T, Surbana Jurong, HDB, Aedas, etc. and is a guest lecturer at NUS Department of Building and Department of Architecture. Currently he is focusing on implementation, content development (GDL, submission templates for architectural/structural and MEP disciplines) and technical support for ARCHICAD in Singapore.


Chidambaram has 15 years of experience in implementing BIM – in an ‘open platform’-based collaborative environment in design, construction and FM stages of life cycle of built assets. He has been involved with ARCHICAD since 2000, when he built his first BIM model using the software for automatic code-compliance checking system developed for Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Singapore. He also have more that 5 years of experience with BIM tools like REVIT, Navisworks, Design Review, CostX, Solibri Model Checker, Tekla BIMSight, Tekla, etc. As part of the BIM implementation team at BCA he has significant experience in providing BIM implementation consultancy to Consultants, Contractors and major Government Procurement Entities (GPE) in Singapore. During this period he also facilitated the Contractor’s BIM Managers Workgroup. His main projects at BCA included:

  • Architectural BIM submission in native format – pilot project
  • BIM Essential Guide for Collaborative Virtual Design and Construction
  • BIM Essential Guide for Contractors
  • Singapore BIM Guide
  • Step-by-Step BIM Guide for Public Housing
  • Structural BIM e-Submission Guideline and Template

He also participated in the content development of BIM courses and regularly conducted BIM lectures at BCA Academy and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Marcelo Morim

– MSc. Architect, 2006 (PT)
– BIM Implementation Architect and GRAPHISOFT Registered Consultant, Registered Architect in Portugal

Marcelo is a GRAPHISOFT Registered Consultant who has been working with ARCHICAD since version 9. Marcelo is experienced in commercial, residential, healthcare and mixed-use projects and focuses mainly on large-scale projects in which he has produced a very detailed work with ARCHICAD.

Since 2007 Marcelo has worked and collaborated with many contractors and architectural offices in Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique and Singapore.

His most relevant works with: Atelierdoporto Associated Architects, Siza Vieira Architect, NOarq Architects, MG Architects, Armazenar Ideias Architects, ATU Architects, Arquiporto Arquitects, VHM, CASAIS construction firm, Mota Engil, P&T Consultants, AEDAS, Woh Hup, Muzi Design, HCF Architects, EZRA and Weijenberg.

As a certified trainer and BIM consultant, Marcelo also gives ARCHICAD basic and advanced trainings. Marcelo is very familiar with collaboration-based project kick-off (Open BIM) and BIM-based concept design. Marcelo is also a guest lecturer at NUS Department of Architecture and Department of Building.
